Fascinating Visit to Penpont

On 8th July, Jonathan Williams led a group of members on a walking tour of the historic grounds at Penpont. The weather was glorious and members were treated to expert insight into the different phases of the designed landscape, including the remnants of early eighteenth-century formal gardens, parkland, ‘picturesque’ walks and early C19th landscaping.
