Epynt field day

Cross Inn Cottage, once an overnight stop for drovers and their cattle

Members enjoyed a day out on Epynt on 9th August.  Major Butcher guided us through areas not accessible to the public, allowing us to view evidence of the area’s long history, from the Bronze Age to 1940, when 54 farms were requisitioned to create the Sennybridge Training Area.
