Meet at Disgwylfa (former farmhouse, now the Epynt Visitor Centre) at 10am for presentations, coffee and cake before a tour of sites illustrating the long history and present use of Epynt, including archaeological evidence and military infrastructure as well as the chapel, school and farms abandoned in 1940.

We have permission to travel in areas not usually open to the public.  Fabulous views.  Some short walks on rough ground (optional).  Bring a picnic.

Disgwylfa is on the B4519 road between Upper Chapel and Garth, about 12 miles from Brecon.  There are toilets at the visitor centre and at our lunch stop.
