'A Little Breconshire Paradise? Howell Harris and the Trefeca Family'

The ‘Trefeca Family’ was a remarkable experiment in communal living established by Howell Harris in 1752 and drawing recruits from across Wales. This lecture will explore what drew people to join the Family, what life was like for those who joined and how the Family affected the wider community in Breconshire.
